If you had to choose between a virgin or woman that had a promiscuous past, what would you choose?
Like if she told you she had been with like 20 guys before and involved in threesomes and orgies. My chick just told me she has been with 18 guys and I feel sick in the head. I'm going to break up with her. I've been with alot of girls but I think she takes the cake. I don't blame her becuase she is really pretty but it kinda hurts that she has been had by so many other guys.
While I don't believe in holding double standards (I mean, you're not a virgin, either), I do agree that she has been with a significant amount of people.
I think, though, that she was pretty honest and brave about revealing her sexual past to you, despite the risk of judgement and scorn. You at least have to hand her that.
Ultimately, I think that it's a woman's heart that matters, not her physical imperfections (inside and outside). A girl can be a virgin physically but that doesn't necessarily mean that her heart and intentions are pure. In the same way that a woman who has slept around doesn't necessarily make her a "shameless whore" for life. It's what her intentions are for her future, and whether or not she wishes to start building up her self-worth from this point on.
Maybe instead of looking solely at the numbers, you can ask WHY she felt compelled in the past to give herself to several men. Did she deal with low self-esteem? Was she physically abused? Was she emotionally neglected? Lack of role models?
Many times the reason why women (even beautiful women) may give themselves so freely to men is the need for love and intimacy, and they feel that in order to get it they must offer their bodies. It may also be a desire for power, which in itself also stems from pain.
Whether or not you do decide to stay with her, I think that you should bear in mind that there is still some of that innocent, vulnerable beauty that is inside every woman, regardless of her past.
