I bought the Irish Accent Spray and I used it. About 2 minutes later a spoke with an accent for ~5 min. I spoke on the phone to a few people and spoke that way 3 consecutive times. As an experiment I tried it on someone who didn't believe it worked and someone who didn't know it was anything but mouth spray. Not surprisingly it didn't work for either of them. I think it is the power of suggestion. It's a great gag gift for the St. Patty's day holiday and I am buying it for 4 friends. Everything I read is from people who didn't want it to work and people who just laughed at the gags the company puts out. I would love to see a study on this phenomena. Now it only works for a like a few second if I try to speak with an accent. It does numb your tongue a bit to make your accent sound better though.
