Where can i find organic wheat bread without sugar added.?
My co worker is on a diet, and would like to know where she could find wheat bread without any sugar added. please help so she can leave me alone.

The yeast needs sugar to grow. When the yeast grows, you add your flour and ingredients and it will rise to make the bread we know and love. Some bakeries may use other forms of sweeteners like, glucose, or honey, but in the end it all adds a form of sugar and calories. All that is needed in this process is about one tablespoonful per loaf of bread, so there is very little per slice.
Yes, if some health food stores you can buy unleavened breads, these do not rise and no yeast needs to have been used therefore no sugar or sweetener needs to have been added.
