Weft Remi Weaving
Hair weaves/extensions?

I'm getting extensions tomorrow at a new place and was wondering if I should get the row-by-row weave or a full set weave?

After wearing my natural hair and letting it grow a decent length, I let someone do the fusion technique on my hair for some added thickness and it broke off badly. So, that's not an option for me anymore. I want someone to braid it and sew the wefts in, but I need it to look as natural as possible. Any suggestions on the best technique??

Also, I bought Remi Velvet hair ($69/pack in NY). Has anyone tried this hair before? Did you like it?

Thanks!

For best results go with a full weave that is sewn in. The hair should be braided in vertical rows (from ear to ear) if you choose a style with a part in it or in a circular pattern if you are going to wear bangs. For a natural look, make sure your own hair is left out around the hairline and the crown. Typically, these braid patterns will allow your weave to last for up to 2 months.

IMPORTANT: be sure your stylist is not braiding your hair too tight as this will cause breakage.

It is also important to maintain your weave by putting it up at night in a wrap style, satin rollers or by putting the hair in a few plaits before you go to bed. NEVER sleep on your weave. Wash it in the shower every 2 weeks with Soft Sheen Carson weave shampoo and conditioner. Regular shampoos tend to "eat" your weave.

Be sure to ask a lot of questions BEFORE your stylist begins.

Good Luck!
