How to wax a Black vehicle with light surface scratches and swirl marks?
I bought NuFinish Scratch Doctor,, and NuFinsish Wax, just wondering what is the best way to wax my ride, and it is my first time ever waxing my truck. Any tips would be great
It will be very difficult to get the swirls and light scratches out by hand. If you did try this without a random orbital polisher, your arm would probably fall off.
I would recommend you either get it detailed professionally or buy a polisher (the good ones aren't cheap).
If you don't want to do that I would suggest
1. Wash
2. Claybar
3. Polish (you can use the scratch doctor but I would recommend an all in one like Klasse AIO)
4. Wax
If you do that it should look a lot better, the swirls and light scratches will probably be slightly filled, but they will still exist untill you use a polisher.
