Do I use too many products on my hair?
I use Philip Kingsley Elasticizer once a month before I wash my hair.
I wash my hair everyday (The hair dresser recommended it to my mum and I three years ago and both of us have had better, cleaner, silkier hair since) with L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Vitamino Colour shampoo and conditioner.
I also use Wella Professionals Brilliance Treatment for Fine to Normal, Coloured Hair once a week. I dye my hair roughly every 8-12 weeks it depends how bad my roots are showing, but I only dye my hair 1-2 shades darker than my natural colour. I sometimes use hairspray and when I do it is always elnett by l'oreal. In winter I also use a leave in conditioner as the ends of my hair get dry from the cold. I rarely use a hair straightener. I very rarely use a hair dryer, unless I am in a serious rush to get out of the house and I sleep on silk pillow cases to minimise hair breakage.
Wow! Seems that you're very concious of your hair. I think that all that you're doing is perfectly good, healthy, and beneficial for your hair. One thing I was told is that washing your hair everyday strips your hair of natural oils, thus drying your hair out. However, I do anyways! I find it very good for my hair since I have VERY curly hair (it's natural) and it tangles, frizzes, and dries out very easily. Today I've learned something! I didn't know that silk pillow cases minimise hair breakage. Thanks for the info! Hoped I helped! Good Luck!!
