Hairdressing Question about Hair Dryers. Need info please..?
am a Mobile Hairdresser in the Brisbane Area.
I am getting a lot of calls from elderly woman who are after wash and setting lately...
I own a professional Stand-Up Hair Dryer for sets, but I find it extremely hard to move it around with me all the time. It's big and heavy. And I don't really wanna go through all this trouble anymore for a few dollars. I have to carry the portable basin as well and that's enough!
Is there an alternative to the "heavy Salon Hairdryer" ?
I cannot seem to find anything on the net.
And I don't want to just use my Hand Blow dryer as this is very unprofessional.

Try to find some inexpensive hair dryer for a home. Then, tell your customers about them. Tell your customers that you will have to raise your rates if they cannot provide their own hair dryers. You are working for peanuts as it is. You ought to get them to have perms and pass out your business card to them, so they can pass it around to their friends and relatives. If you don't have business cards, just write some up with paper and ink. Word of mouth is the best reference you can have. Good luck.
