does anyone have the instructions for the "dr. scholl's thermal therapy quick heat parafin bath"?
this is the wax therapy premium series. it was given to me as a gift from someone who never used it, but the instructions were not in it. can someone PLEASE help? if you have instructions or know were i can find them. if you have the instructions, my e-mail address is availible and maybe you could scan and send them. i have already tried to go to dr. scholl's andhelen of troy.com. thank you!
I found a toll free number for Dr. Scholls. (800) 558-7614
I have a parafin spa for my hands. I guess it would work the same way. You put the parafin in and turn the machine on a medium number. You must wait a couple of hours for the wax to melt and heat. Then, you put in your hand (or foot, etc) and take it out, letting the wax set up. Dip again. Keep doing that until you are able to keep your hand in and just feel the heat coming through. If feels wonderful! When you are done, take your hand out, let the wax set again and peel it off and drop it back in. It will melt into the other wax again.
My bath has an option to leave it on a low setting, so it is always ready to be used. I prefer to turn it off because, let's face it, accidents happen. I have two very curious pupppies, so mine always get turned off and put away.
After a lot of use, you'll want to replace the parafin with new. You can get parafin at any beauty shop.
Good luck and let me know if this helped. My email is available.
