Treatment Dry Damage

Anyone know a really good intensive conditioning treatment for dry, damaged hair?
My hair has been damaged now for a while because I straighten it a lot.
I went to the hairdressers recently and got a good trim which got rid of all the split ends.
They told me to buy a good conditioning treatment like a mask to put on my hair once a week
Can anyone suggest one that actually works? i don't mind paying a bit extra than the usual brands like Tresemme and pantene, because I have tried these before and they haven't really worked.
Also I have tried the mayonnaise, egg and oil tricks before and they haven't worked so please don't suggest them!
Humectress, by Nexxus. Put some on your hair after washing and wrap your head with a towel. Leave it on there for as long as you can. You cant heal split ends, but you can save yourself splits in the future. And if you still have split ends, they will eventually grow longer moving up your hair. Best thing to do would be to go ahead and get all the splits cut off. But if you cant, just do the conditioner thing once a week until you can get another haircut.
