THOROUGHLY CONFUSED...what flat iron to buy. Opinions/Suggestions: FHI, CHI, Sedu, Solia or Paul Mitchell?
I am in the market for a new flat iron. I currently use a ceramic Revlon iron. I am looking for a tourmaline and/or ionic iron. I've been doing research for the past 4-5 hours and I'm even more unsure than when I started.
I live in DC, sometimes humid, and have African-American hair, tight tiny curls when natural. My hair is very manageable but slightly damaged and a little dry (so I'm told). I'm growing out my perm and I want something that will get my hair straight and keep it from further damage.
So looks like all my facebook friends recommend the CHI, but I'm still not sold because all of the comments online say the FHI or Sedu is better.
I've looked at the Herstyler (which I borrowed and liked), CHI, FHI, Sedu, Solia or Paul Mitchell (recommended by a hairstylist).
Please HELP and tell me the differences between these hair tools! (Hair product recommendations too)
My hair is absolutely crazy, and I hate it when it's curly, so naturally I need a good straightener that works well and won't kill my hair. My hair stylist uses a ceramic CHI so that's the one I got and it's great! It does get really hot so make sure you use a thermal protectant spray beforehand. Why not ask a hair dresser which one she likes best?
