How do I sew lace/sweater material that has big gaps?
I have lace-like material that has huge gaps. How am I suppose to sew that together to make a blouse? Do I use some kind of fusing or a tape? I want to make it stretch a little bit too to get over my head. Any ideas?
Consider underlining with a lightweight tricot or other knit -- e.g., the knits often used for figure skating costume security. Choose a color that matches your skin tone for the closest to nude look, or go for something that contrasts with your lace.
