my brown roots are about an inch showing so it looks bad, but im waiting for my natural color to come back.

i need a good shampoo and conditioner that you can buy at cvs or ulta. i heard pantene and a few others leave crap in your hair. is salon selectives any good? also i plan on buying neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioning for the leave in conditioner if thats any good.
i still wanna straighten my hair, i picked out a new ceramic one, but do u know any good protection?
or anything to help highlights fade?

last thing- i have side bangs down to the end of my nose and little layers at the bottom. i'd like a really layered hairstyle with bangs, don't care what kind for straight hair. and any good hairstyles?
