I have been dying my hair black on and off for over four years now. The first time I tried to strip the black dye from hair I had to dye it blonde (not bleach), red and then a dark brown. This did actually work, but as I am trying to grow my hair, I was wondering if there were a much safer and perhaps cheaper way of doing this without damaging or drying out my hair.
