Can I color my hair if my hair is breaking?
My hair is breaking off. I have been coloring my hair for a while and most recently have bleached it. My hair is naturally brown so my roots have grown out quite a bit and it looks terrible! I want to color it brown with maybe just a few blonde highlights in it. I just wanted to know how long I need to wait before I can color it again? Its been a couple months since I bleached it. Also is there anything I can do to help the breakage heal? I use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, I deep condition two times a week and I use sunglitz(repair and shine silk leave in treatment) everyday. Is there anything else I can do so I can color it again? I want to color it before the fourth of July. Thanks!
I would dye it back to your normal color, get it cut as short as you a willing to go, then wait for it to become healthy again before you dye it! Hair that has been over dyed and bleached looks terrible!
