Hey,
I did my speaking on my work experience too although it was a couple of years ago now.
Top tip - whatever you do DO NOT say "On the first day I did this... On the second day I did this...etc." My teacher marked our class down for that. Perhaps just give an overview then give a specific example which includes the day.
Also don't get too bogged down in the history. Its a great idea and you should definitely do it but remember that not everyone in your audience will be as interested in it as you. It needs to be accessible to everyone.
I gave examples of specific things I enjoyed/didn't enjoy or found funny - something your audience can relate to could be a possibility. This keeps your audiences interested and humour ALWAYS goes down well.
Remember that the audience can ask questions at the end (well they could in mine!). Don't panic. Take a few moments to think about your answer then reply.
Lastly, try to stand up straight, not on one leg, don't play with your hair or fiddle with you sleeves. This detracts attention from what you're saying.
Good luck! I'm sure you will do really well
