Testimonials on Wen hair care system?
Im thinking about getting the wen hair care system (cleansing conditioner,texture balm, essential oil, styling creme) for my birthday in September. A lot of people say they love the product. Im trying to get my hair healthier, silkier,more manageable and longer. Some people say it killed their scalp? I don't get that. Some people say it made their hair fall out! Im scared, but still it looks like it would help my hair because my stylist said the reason my hair is damaged is because it lacks moisture so good idea right? What do you say?
My hair type: Medium texture/medium coarse.. somewhat past shoulder length.

I recently bought it and I love the cleansing conditioner. It cleans my hair and leaves it moisturized at the same time. The Re Moist hair mask isn't doing anything for my extremely dry hair, but I think I need a different kind like the Fig. That's too expensive - $72 at http://www.chazdean.com and $52 at http://www.qvc.com , so I'm going to do without. I bought Neutrogena Triple Moisture deep conditioning hair mask and this is okay and I'm going to use this a few more times to see if my moisture retention improves.
I haven't used the styling cream, the texture balm, or any of the oils. I'm going to buy from QVC the set of 4 cleansing conditioners because I want to start using this instead of shampoo. If you have cable or Satelite then Chaz Dean will be on QVC at the end of this month showcasing his product and you can tune in to see if you like it or not. If you don't buy the sample package then it might be cheaper to buy it from QVC.com.
I haven't used it long enough to notice any improvements in my hair health-wise. I did notice increase in curl definition and seperation of curls. It didn't leave my hair too dry or too oily, but just right. My curls felt denser afterwards, and my curls did have a bit more elasticity. It also made my hair curlier. There's a nice, calmind smell and a tingling sensation I've felt from time-to-time.
Whether you buy it depends on you. It can become expensive because you can run out of the cleansing conditioner pretty quick. I haven't even had mine for two weeks and I'm almost out of my 12oz bottle. It acts as a shampoo, deep conditioner, rinse conditioner, and leave-in all in one. I will only use it to cleanse my hair because it's too expensive to do anything else with - for my budget, anyway.
