What colors should I use, and what kinds of furniture can I arrange my room with to make it a modern style?
I am moving soon, and having my room redone befor emoving in. I am going for the modern contemporary look with soft lights, very dark bed, e.t.c. My room is quite small, and I was wondering what colors would make it look more roomy, yet still comfy and contemporary? I was about to paint it a rich red color, but I am afraid that will make my room look more crowded, unappealing, and small. I want the "look", with my small room still looking spacey and comfy. Any suggestions?
Don't be afraid of Red however consider doing just one wall as an accent wall......always prime b4 appling red. Choose your red carefully, maybe a nice cranberry, deep & rich, Get as funky large mirror to put on the red wall & really open up your otherwise small room.
The cool thing about paint is u can always live with it for a while even if u hate it but it's changeable. Isn't decorating fun?? Good luck.
