Spiker Styling Glue

I want to color my hair...purple!!! but I'm not sure...any recommendations??
Hi, well I always wanted to color my hair purple, like dark purple or electric purple but up until now I've only used semi-permanent hair color... and not for the whole thing only streaks of hair ... or my usual 1 red-purple streak of hair... but I kinda want to color the whole thing, but I'm not sure since I've been thinking that not all of my clothes will match with my hair unless I always wear black, but I don't want to wear only black so...i was thinking maybe get some of those coloured gels like the JOICO ICE HAIR SPIKER COLORED STYLING GLUE or the Got2Be one...but hmmmm, I have no idea which one would look better...."panic purple" or "trance purple"...any suggestions? May be should i choose anther color, like hot pink? Thank You. My hair is black ...or dark brown, my eyes are dark brown but sometimes I wear green contacts, my skin clor is light brown btw..
With your eye colour, I'd suggest a dark shade of purple rather than something too vibrant, nor pink. Maybe plum or lighter. I know someone with very dark hair and she has purple highlights and they are sooo cool! I'll say go for it! Indie is in.
