Solid Ceramic Ionic

Can any hair straightener be used as a curler as well?
I'm thinking of buying the Conair model CTX31C.
It's written: solid ceramic; tourmaline technology, powerful ceramic heater and ionic technology.
Could I use it to curl my hair?
Of course. One of the great things about flat irons (also called straighteners) is that it makes the hair follicle nice and tight, which makes your hair shine. To use it to curl, you have to keep it moving just like when you're making your hair straight. Hold a small section and wrap it around the flat iron, with the part closest to your head over the hot section. Then slowly pull up while holding the hair around the iron. As it goes through the wrapping creates a curl.
