SoColor Matrix Color...?
I bought 2 SoColor Matrix haircolors. They say to take 1/2 from one color, and 1/2 from the other. ok.
I bought a 10 developer. Tell me waht to do.
As a hairdresser for the last 14 years, socolor is the only color i have used. First of all it's neve a good idea to buy professional color and try it at home unless you are a licensed cosmetologist. If you bought this color to make your own lighter, 10 vol will do nothing, you need 20 vol or higher depending on the level of lift you are trying to achieve. If you bought this color to go darker you will need the 10 vol. developer. If you bought the color to correct a "bad" color, you have to know what that color level is and what color level you want to achieve....This determines the outcome of your color application! To answer your question directly...if you use for example, 1 ounce of one color and one ounce of the other, you would need to add 2 ounces of developer. Matrix has a simple formula of equal part color to equal part developer. Good luck!
