Its not going to make your hair perfect, but it should help add shine and control some of those annyoing fly-aways.

when using hair serum, I run it through my hair after towel drying it, then blow dry my hair, then straighten it.

make sure to NOT USE TOO MUCH, otherwise it will make your hair greasy. a small glob in your hand should be more than enough.
