dermablend cover creme or smooth indulgence?
I want to use dermablend to cover up some redness on my cheeks but I don't know whether I should get the cover creme or the smooth indulgence. Is the smooth indulgence lighter? I want the redness to be completely hidden. Thanks guys
Smooth indulgence is a medium to full coverage foundation, while cover creme is a full coverage foundation. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Smooth indulgence has some sheerness to it such that it looks more natural, but at the same time it wouldn't fully cover bright redness. Cover cream is completely opaque and you can't see a thing through it, but you have to put blush and other make-up on so it doesn't look like your face just got painted.
Since you're a man and won't want your make-up to be detected, I think smooth indulgence would be a great place to start. If you're not having luck with that, then try the cover cream.
If you're not embarrassed, you could also go into a MAC cosmetics store and have a pro put some of their full coverage foundation on you. They have a much wider range of colors and their artists will be able to match to your skin tone and blend flawlessly, and then you can even see the look before you buy it.
Good luck!
