Good shampoos to get smooth, sleek, shiny hair?
My hair is dark red, long, very thick, and the tinyest bit coarse. Every time I wash it, leave it down at nigh, I wake up and its all ripply, coarse and gross. If i put is in a pony tail I have a big kink. I use some off brand Kirkland signature shampoo and conditioner from Costco. How can I get sleek, smooth, hair while still keeping is wavy. Ialso have this one piece of hair thats all zig-zaggy. PLEASE HELP!!!!
There are shampoos that are made to make your hair sleek and shiny, like Garnier Sleek And Shine, but these types of products haven't really worked for me or anyone I know. It is important to find a product that deep conditions because it is dryness that causes lack of definition of waves and frizz (which no one wants!). If you are looking for something inexpensive I would try Pantene Nature Fusion or Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. If you want to splurge I would try Instant Moisture Daily Shampoo. All of these products are great moisturizers and have made my hair smooth. You should also try a leave in conditioner like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and if you want to create waves, try Sunsilk Waves of Envy Sea Mist.
