which of these conditioners is best for thin dry damaged hair?
My hair is thin and dry and it breaks off easily. I currently have a number of different conditioners and was wondering which would be best for my hair. The ones I have are: joico moisture recovery, silky sexy hair, pantene beautiful legnths, and mane n' tail.
Which do you think is best to prevent my hair from breaking off and getting more damaged?
Pantene is horrible, it is full of drying detergents and causes a huge build up on hair. Mane n' tail is made for animals and it ph is balanced for them. Mane n' tail will dry out your hair. Silky sexy hair; not a fan of either. If I had to choose from only those I would say Joico. But if you want a brand that really will be a benefit to your hair I would dump them all and I would go to Nioxin. It is Superior in every way to any of the ones you mentioned. Go to www.nioxin.com and find a salon in your area that carries them any cosmetologist in that salon will be able to suggest which products will best suit your hair. It is more expensive, but they are super concentrated so you only use small amounts.
Make sure you are using both a shampoo and conditioner form the line and they are formulated to work together. Also keep your hair trimmed the dead ends need to be removed at least every 6-8 weeks. And lastly ALWAYS use a thermal protective spray or serum before you use any heated styling tool.
