I am a vegetarian right?
I do think animals can be used for things like dairy as long as they are being treated properly! I also think sheep can be used for wool since they are not skinned they are sheared! But my thing is there is no need for animals to be killed or tortured and not tested on!!! So I just do not eat meat or wear fur or leather.... I still eat dairy,honey,eggs... I would wear wool.
Can you give me a list of things besides meat and leather and fur that kill animals so I do not use them! I ( NOTE I DO NOT MIND THINGS THAT COME FROM ANIMALS AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT KILL THEM! OR HURT THEM!)
You're a lacto-ovo vegetarian, which is totally fine, and anyone who tells you otherwise needs to shut up because at least you're doing something.
Silk (boils the worm),
metal foil (like silver or gold foil that is pressed really thin so it's edible, uses animal fat to get that thin),
certain types of red food coloring (carmic acid/carmine, from ground up insects),
gelatin (in starbursts, skittles, marshmallows, from boiled collagen, cartilage, I think),
certain types of cheeses (unacceptable rennat, used to curdle the cheese, comes from stomachs of cows, usually french cheese is not OK, but other types are acceptable, depends how stringent/persistent you are with this)
Good luck!
