variable costs of a beauty salon?
Does anybody knows what is the average variable cost (things that are not paid monthly like shampoos, conditioners, masks, color) for an average hair salon? I am looking to open my own beauty salon but is hard to figure out if is going to be profitable or not without knowing what this things will cost periodically?
Find your wholesalers prices for the product. Estimate number of uses each day for each product. For example, 10 shampoos per day at 10ml is 100ml per day, mulitply that by 365 (days in the year) divid by 12 (months) that will be your monthly use of shampoo. You need to estimate right now bc you don't know what the actual client numbers will be. Good luck!
