How do I keep my haircolor from fading?
Yesterday I got my hair colored a very dark brown over a bleach blonde, I'm using shampoo for brunettes, but is there anything else I can do to prevent it from fading?
Next time you go to have your hair retouched ask if they can apply a color filler to your hair befor the color tint. Fillers are a special preparation that helps the hair get ready for the dye. Fillers equal the porosity of the hair and fills in the spaces deep in the hair shaft that the prior bleaching left when the color was removed. Once the pores are filled the dye can grab on to the hair making it more difficult to fade.
