Whats a really good shampoo-conditioner set?
That smells good, doesn't cost over 5 bucks, and works well for heat-damaged hair
Dove has a deep moisturizer that's under $5. Use whatever shampoo you want, as long as it's for dry/damaged hair. But then work in the deep moisturizer twice a week and leave it on for 5-10 mins each time. It really helps heat-damaged hair.
Also, Redken makes a leave-in conditioner with UV protection. If you're going to be out in the sun, use that to add more moisture and more protection to your hair.
