Best way to clean used shampoo/body wash bottles to use as pot plants?
I want to reuse my body wash/shampoo/conditioner containers as pots for plants - is anyone aware of any methods of cleaning that will get rid of all traces of the chemicals etc so that my plants have the best start possible? Thanks!
If you have a dishwasher, I would put them through that on the top rack. If you don't have a dishwasher, then I would rinse them out really well, at least until foam didn't come out of the top anymore, then soak them in warm clear water.
Kudos to you! I admire you for recycling! My son uses orange juice and soy milk carton which cannot be recycled because they are wax covered, paints or decorates the outside, and uses them to grow plants.
