What to do with my hair???!!! HELP!!!!?
Hi there, my hair is a total mess and I need a lot of help!!! I want to do what's best for it so I need everyones advice! My hair is right above my bust(when straightened) It's naturally wavy which I hate so I use a straightener almost every day. I use Got2be thermal protectant which I hate, I use sebastian drench. Half my hair is bleached ( it's old hair) and the lower half is soooo dry and dead with soooo many split ends! What hair products should I use? what should i do with the dead hair part? I really want long hair so no cutting it! HELPPPP!
well surprisingly when your hair is dead like that its healthy for it to be dyed (only because its already so damaged).... so for the dead part i suggest you dye it, it wont cure it but it will make it healthier than it is. obviously what your using might not be working the best and you hate it anyways so i suggest using a different protectant i use any of the heating serums they sell at sallys beauty supply and john frieda and garnier fructis (sp) can be a lil pricey but they usually work good on my hair ( im black white hawaiian and korean so you can imagine the crazy curly mess i have to deal with) also a lot of my friends say it helps their hair when they add like a dime sized amount of conditioner or hair cream after straightening it. also pantene's thermal protection conditioner and shampoo is really good and if your bleached part is really dead too but youre unwilling to redye the bleached hair then your kinda S.O.L. and of course to achieve more length eventually youll want to get rid of your split ends which reminds me the split end cream made by herbal essences is really good i think its called long term relationship (just like the shampoo and conditioner that they make) but this is the most you can do for your hair without cutting it if you wish to keep straightening it etc. obviously you know that doing these things is harmful to your hair these were just some tips to try and reverse as much as possible of what has happened btu as i mentioned earlier this wont cure/completely fix your hair. well i hope i helped and if you have any other questions dont be shy to ask.
