Neeed help have gone from dark brown to blonde!?
My natural colour is dark brown and it was bleached by hairdresser about a year ago since then i have had a toner on it to make it dark but it turned Orange in places i really wanna go blond again so my hairdresser has but a half head of highlight that are blonde but they are starting to go that orange again. Is there any shampoo that will stop this and keep my hair blonde?
Ive bought a purple shampoo i can use once a week.

i also didnt ask to go peroxide blond i was getting hightlights done every 6 weeks all over my head and she done that! really not my fault and she has now left the salon and my hair is now wrecked
First of all it was silly to bleach dark brown to blonde you should have had it lightened to a light-golden brown first otherwise you will suffer long term damage to the hair and yes it does go bright bleachy gold or orange!
Speaking as someone who has hair past my bum (natural) and two years ago went from brown to peroxide blonde I know how you feel, expensive, damaging and impossible to keep white.
Silver shampoo is the one you are after but not for use all the time as it contains a small amount of bleach and other chemicals that slightly wash the colour down in your hair.
Avoid high winds as this can strip the colour from the front or in patches of the hair making the rest appear worse, avoid hot water and straighteners as they will both ruin the hairs and as straighteners act as heat fusers they can make the hair very very yellow (trust me I did this) The best thing you can do is go to a dark shade of natural blonde with a little brown in it and try to maintain that.
Dark hair finds it almost impossible to hold peroxide and will always turn gold or orange
