My tat peeled... now ALL the color is gone!!?
I just had my 4th tattoo done. I had NO problems with the first 3. The 4th one is a wk old. It looked great when it was first done but now it has peeled and the color is gone... not just faded but completely gone!! The outline is still visible. I went back to the artist (a new guy..a different tattoo shop.. both were recommended) and he said that the color would return but that I would have to come back in 8 weeks for touch up. This is MORE than a touch up! I decided to get a second opinion. Another salon (my regular tattoo shop where I got my first 3) said it was a faulty needle or faulty equipment. Has this happened to anyone before???
Wow, I'm sorry, but I haven't had any problems with mine. I guess all you can do is give it some time and then if it doesn't come back, go to your regular place, have them fix it, and then give the bill to the ones that screwed it up.
