Creating specific thematics?
have taken on a project for creating a theme for a salon. the target market is teenagers, college students, aspiring models, and the young at heart. I need some insight into what teenagers are into these days. And suggestions as to what thematic elements would apeal to this target audience. Thanx in advance.
Are they boys or girls? Boys like girls and vice versa, and that is the only 'trend' that lasts long enough to plan around....
My suggestion-make the theme 'people' and choose to make the focus on the 'style' you use to depict them. You can also use 'color' to develop the focus (example: if you use 50's style art, use turquoise, pink, brown and/or black. If you do 70's style art-use green, orange, yellow or red, white, and blue).
