I have had micro ring/link hair extensions. They were somewhat versatile. I could part my hair and put it in a high ponytail. The only problem was if I chose to straighten it out that day, I would have to straighten my natural hair along with it. I don't like doing that. I try to avoid straightening my own hair as much as I can.
I recently heard more info. on weaves. That its not like your flat - ironing your hair because its braided up, and not causing as much damage to your natural hair.
My question is:
If I were to get a partial sewn - in weave, would it be as versatile as micro ring hair extensions. Can I put it up in a high ponytail or medium ponytail? Also, would it look natural? Like would it have a big hump on the back of my head? and be bulky because of the braids?
Any one who knows weaves, please answer.
