How long can I keep hair wax in my hair without harming it?

More specifically how long can I keep Garnier Fructus reshapable putty in my hair without any harm being done? I have a hairstyle that takes a lot of time and I want to keep it on for a couple of days before I wash it off.

thats fine. wax does no damage, but be sure you wash it out before you condition, so the conditioner can get into your hair.
