Replenishing Conditioner

Will I get the same results if I WASH OUT my deep conditioner?
i'm currently doing a deep conditioning treatment for the first time with this product and i've been reading online and people are saying that it leaves a residue in their hair. i was wondering if i rinse it out then do just a quick wash to get the residue out, will it ruin my results?
by the way, i'm using the Olive Oil Replenishing Pak.
I wouldn't shampoo after the conditioning treatment.
Just rinse with warm water..
Apply some of your regular conditioner, from root to tip.
Massage into hair, and rinse with warm water.
Follow up with cool water, as cool at you can stand it,
to lock in the moisture.
