What is the difference between Remi and Silky hair extensions?
I know Remi is more expensive- but why? And is it worth the extra cost?
I was looking to buy clip in extensions. I was looking at the ones on this site>

You asked the right questio. silky just describes the feel of the hair remy describes the quality. Indian Remi is supposed to be the best hair but the problem with that is that you need to try different kinds to know what quality will work with what you are looking for. for just a temporary weave you don't need to spend the ample cash that remi costs. but if you want something that will last a few weeks and be reuseable remy is well worth the investment. but real remy hair is sold by the ounce. you want a place that sells virgin hair (minimally processed) with full cuticle and from one donor. if you ask these questions and they don't know what you are talking about they probably aren't selling real remi hair. or they don't offer a good quality indian remi. also remi hair can be colored and permed and you can do all sort of chemical processes to it. and if it is from one donor, it will have a more natural movement to it because it comes from one person's head. where as commercial bag hair is a combo of many people's hair and textures. also remi hair is mostly sold by the pound, so if you see it in a pre packaged bag it is not remi. happy weaving.
