please help! brassiness in blonde hair?
I got one light blonde chunk put in my medium/dark brown hair today, and it looks awesome except for in the middle of the chunk their is a huge brassy stripe! My hairdresser was aware of this and was more than happy to fix it, we tried keeping me under the dryer for as long as my hair could take, but I didn't want to do much more to it at the salon to avoid damaging it. She did offer to redo it right there but I was crammed for time and had to leave. She suggested that it would lighten up after I wash it a few times, and I agreed because something similar had happened to me before. However, I'd like to get rid of this brassiness fast because I'm going to have a busy week ahead of me. Any home remedies or special shampoos I can try??
I have the perfect product for that, it's called Shimmer Lights, which you can purchase at Sally's, maybe even drugstores because it's a Clairol product, but I'm not too sure. But it's a purple shampoo, so if you use it you have to be careful with how much you use it because it could leave you with a purplish-bluish tint to your hair. Use it about once a month & after the first use you should get great results.
