Reflect Mask

Does a church really want someone to be truthful or wear a mask of happiness 24/7?
In churches I find that when someone ask me a question that is directly related to me I will usually tell the truth regardless of whether it’s polite, mannered or fluff talk. If I am agitated, I will say look this is not so kosher or if I am happy then I would reply with an upbeat answer. I wear my heart on my sleeve and my words/tone will reflect what I think about something. I will give my honest opinion whether or not it puts the church in the best light yet church members tend to label a person like this as a black sheep or screwed up in one form or another. Therefore, the question remains does the church want honest opinions or a yes man/women. Someone that has a smooth talking tongue with a fake smile plastered on his or her face every minute of church time. Why is it so hard for churches to say sorry when it’s their mistake unless the person harps on them about the error then that person becomes the black sheep of the flock.
It's your opinion that it's a mask of happiness.
As one of those "happy" people, I'll tell you mine is no mask.
It is right to apologize for mistakes which everyone makes; but you don't need to think that everyone is trying to be fake.
