Japanese Straightening? Should I do it?
* I have very frizzy dry hair. I straighten it and use all these products [CHI silk infusion && redken straightening balm]. iT DOSENT WORK!! my hair is still too full and poofy!
* i only have 156 dollars to spend. how much is japanese straightening??

The price depends on where you are, and whether there are lots of people who do it in your area. If there are more hair salons offering it, then the price would be cheaper, out of competition.
For me, it cost $100, and lasted for about a whole year, even though I had really curly hair. The results were great! I don't see why some people can pay over $500 just to get the Japanese hair straightening! That's just outrageous! Just because it is expensive, it does not mean that it's better in all cases. It could be expensive because there's hardly anyone who does it, and if the hair stylist lacks experience, then the result may not be good. I guess it's expensive in America (you can get a good Japanese hair straightening in Japan for as low as $60, and the qualities are just as well as doing it in America) because it's not as common, maybe.
Look for several places that is experienced at Japanese hair straightening, and also ask anyone who has ever done it which place they recommend. I also would talk to your hair stylist, because some hair is not suited. I added the link so you can read a little bit more about it.
