i have a can of flat base paint in red?
....can i add clear gloss to it to make it shiny...c what happened it that i put some gloss on red walls and in some spots it didnt dry very clear it is like milky white...i thought today i could take the red that is flat base and mix it with some gloss and "touch up the spots" would this work or what should i do thanks
Bad idea. What you can do is paint it with the flat paint first, then put a coat (or 2 or 3) of gloss polyurethane on top to get the shine.
