I'm getting a MacBook Pro and I need a little help choosing a size?
I've decided to get a MacBook Pro for school.
Which size screen should I get? 13-inch, 15-inch, 17-inch?
I want a straight-forward answer and why I should get this size.

So.. from looking at the answers, I'm definitely am not getting a 17-inch.
15-inch would be your best bet for school.
Yes the 17-inch gets 8 hours of battery life and that would be great for school but at 17 inches its a little less portable. Also you don't really need all the computing power that the 17 inch offers for school unless you are going to be a computer engineer or something along those lines.
Next down to the 13-inch. This one is very portable but lacks in some key hardware for school. Its battery life is lowest at 5 hours which, granted is still quite a bit, but 5 hours will last you through about half the day. And you will need a decent sized hard drive to store all of your files for maybe up to 4 years of college i assume or more. So you need a laptop with the ability for an extremely large capacity hard drive, which the 13-inch model doesn't offer. The 13-inch model would do good for Realtors or someone who is on the go a lot but has the fall back of a power outlet.
So that leaves you to the 15-inch model like I said before at the top. This has to be one of the most perfect school laptops. You have the option for a medium-high processor which will let you handle a lot of programs at a time without bugging up. Also you get a solid 6-7 hours which will keep you going throughout the day and longer. Also Hard drive is not a question with this model. You can go very big without sacrificing its mobility. All in all the 15-inch MacBook Pro is by far the best laptop to get for school!
And just to finish it off, you said you wanted straight forward so if you don't feel like reading all that i just wrote 15-INCH MODEL! Go with that!!
