Will the Pantene Pro V Curls collection work if you have straight hair?
I am a Black female who is looking for other options to relaxers. Without relaxers, my hair is naturally curly. I was wondering if this product would help encourage my curls to come back, even though my perm hasn't grown out yet...
I just tried it this morning and it did make my hair curl tighter (I say tighter since my hair already curls up when it gets wet). The product smells really good, unlike some of the other curl products I've tried. I think that if you have hair that curls up naturally when wet, this product will work for you. =)
Unfortunately it won't. It may help it hold a curl a tiny bit better but it wont make it curl up after washing it. I have straight hair and i still use it but i don't really notice a difference in my hair. My hair dresser recently told me that pantene is one of the worst things you can put in your hair. I guess it dries it out really bad and i've been noticing some hair breakage by my part so I'm thinking about switching to a different brand.
