Preserve Shampoo

I just dyed my hair...but the color washes out in the shower, even when i havent used shampoo yet...?
Well... i just had my hair dyed at my local salon, with permanent hair dye. My hair that i dyed was recently blond before the color, which made the brown violet color turn out purple(which i wanted).
My hair was last dyed blond in January, it was only done a few days ago, and in those few days every time my hair goes under water in the shower it runs out. How do i stop it from running out?...How do i preserve the nice tone of violet in my hair?
You might try a mild white vinegar rinse. About 3 tablespoons in a quart of water. That's how they used to "Fix and Set" all sorts of hair dyes "in the old days". But, it used to be done after a fresh dye job. I don't know if it will work for one that is a few days old.
After shampooing, before conditioning, use the vinegar solution and let it set for 5 minutes, rinse and condition, then style as usual.
