Does anyone use Velvet Remy by. Outre?
Is it good hair? Do it tangle? After you wash it what does it look like. Tell me how you feel about it. I was thinking of using it.
I actually got Remy Velvet a week ago and I love it. It is very good hair, and everyone likes and tells me that it looks natural. What i did was, I left the front of my hair out, the sides, and the back so my hair can flow with the weave. It makes it look even MORE natural and easy to put up in a ponytail. If you choose to leave some of your hair out make sure to have your stylist perm that part. The rest of it is braided. Since this is my first weave i don't know if it tangles any more or less than the rest of them but it does tangle a little bit. It never looks like a nappy weave though. Or i could be the type of person who brushes her hair alot. I brush my real hair all the time.
Now, i didn't have a chance to wash it yet but my girlfriend told me not to just scrub it like it's your own hair. Scrub your scalp but rub the shampoo through the weave. When you dry it, blot it dry with a towel and soak the water out of the braided part. This girl is my best friend and her weaves are always BEAUTIFUL. For a while i thought it was her real hair until she told me the truth! So i trust her advice when it comes to maintenance.
My stylist told me that the best shampoo to use is Redken "smooth down".
