im going to buy a original chi flat iron, and i was wonder, whats the best heat protectant to go with the chi?
i use redken heat glide, but im thinking about changing, usually because when i use it, it works well and all, it protects, adds shine, and and on the bottle it says it makes hair soft, but it ends up getting my hair oily instead of soft. wats the best heat protection u recommend to go with the chi? i want details. 
I use a Fantasia Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum that i got at sally's beauty supplies. They told it it was the best serum, and i loved it ever since i started using it.
It is Aloe enriched and smells really nice as well; it gets rid of the horrible chi smell.
It also makes my hair shiny and silky smooth...like REALLY REALLY soft, like to the point where, if i don't put it in a tight ponytail, it just slips right off, which is perfect for the whole "messy bun" thing
Also, when i try other styles instead of just straightening, like curling, it enhances each curl
i just love it <3
