About 3 mounts ago I stepped right down on the head of a nail that had rose from the floor a small amount. I was caring some weight in my hands and did not see it. but I came down right in the center of my heal. I hurt for a week or two then the pain just faded away. But as of late when I run or put excessive pressure on that heal it hurts very badly and the pain seems to get worse each time. I am a very active person and this is starting to hinder my mobility a great deal. I at first just thought it was a deep bruise. But now with the pain I was thinking I may have formed some sort of bone spar. Or could it be a hair line fracture that keeps getting worse. I have no clue that's why I'm here to ask before I wast time going to a Dr. If you made it all the way through this, thanks for help if you have any.
The nail did not pearce my skin. It was the head of the nail I steped on.
