How to convince parents to get me a leopard gecko?
my mom says its ok but she is afraid of them and only will approve of it if my dad says yes. my dad said no and later i overheard my dad talking to my mom, im not saying the story but it reminds him of a person he hates. i want one verrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy baaaaaaaaaaadddddddddlllllllyyyyyy... i did my research for a couple of months and i really want one. 10 points for best answer that also works .

i know a leopard gecko breeder here in yonkers ny so i wont buy 1 at petco or petsmart

you can tell that having such a pet can teach you to care of things. it can also keep you occupied all the time and it can keep you out trouble. they ways it can keep you out of trouble is by taking up your time from doing something bad.you can also tell them that you will work harder in school and help out around the house a little more.
the cheapest material you can get them from Wal-mart or petco. you can buy a 10 gallon tank for 10 dollars. they are good for starters but not good for a permanent home. you will have to eventually get a bigger tank. also you can buy the bedding from Wal-mart or petco. the bedding should not be more than a couple dollars. also you will need a water dish which you can buy from petco they are cheap there. also buy a log so it can climb on it. the heating lamp will not be so cheap unless you catch it on sell. go to petco for this they usually have sells. also get a petco card. you will need that for the sells. and the live food for the gecko is real cheap at petco. so in total you will be spending about 70 dollars maybe less.
