i have a perm and want my straight hair back?
the perm isn't too curly, it's more wavy than anything, but i want my straight hair again. i've had the perm for about 4 months so it has grown out a lot. i was wondering if there was a permanent straightener product (i've seen it at stores like Sally's Beauty Supply) that salons could do, or just a way to take the perm out?
I do not recommend using chemicals to straighten your hair because it is very damaging. Since you have a perm that is just wavy, I would just wait it out because a loose perm does not last as long as tight curls do anyway. If you want your hair straight again, you should use a roll brush and blow dry your hair straight in sections. I have wavy hair and that is what I do to get it straight. You can also finish your hair with a flat iron to get it really straight. If you keep doing this, your perm will wear out much quicker but definitely do not go the chemical route.
