Should I buy circuit city's warranty or samsungs for my 40"LCD?
CC 5yr warr is $340 & sams 3yr is $500, does anyone know y there's such a big diff in $? my LCD went out after 9mo's, the TV tech had to replace the screen after 3 appts, so naturally I'm very concerned about the life of my LCD, it could b a lemon. also does anyone know which warr is more likely to replace the LCD & under what terms? does it go by your purchase price? or how much your TV is worth @ the time of replacement giving u basically the same tv just a diff model? also what if CC closes its doors? i read somewhere they use a 3rd party to cover their warranty's but thats just something i read, thanks
derek, how can i take it back if i bought it 10months ago, u think CC will let me exchange it? & the glare on plasma's i cant tolerate
first of all if go with Circuit City they might not be able to honor the SERVICE PLAN... in case you didnt know they have until this week to come to an agreement or there liquidating everything.. as for as samsungs warranty.. they only cover defects that they caused during the manufacturing proccess...
i would take the tv back and go to best buy and puchase everything there...everyone knows there going to be around for years to come.. also there plan would prolli be cheaper..and there also certified to calibrate television to give you a better picture quality....
FYI: the plasma technology is a better technology i would reccommend goin to a panasonic 42 inch... also samsung just pulled one of there models off there line due to the fact that there was to many problems with it...
